Hi all :) I'm working on this new layout, a style change just before the Olys! The photo gallery and the fan section still have the old version, I hope to finish everything during this week. I hope you'll like the new design :)
BTW, I can't believe that in less than a week there will be the Olys Opening Ceremony!!!! I've waited this moment for such a long time :) Take the time to have a look at the "Olys Special" in the news, with all the useful info for the Olys weeks!!

Very quick results from yesterday's OD, as I'm leaving in a few minutes for Sesto again:

Fede & Massi skated well, good synch, maybe not so sparkly.
Barbara & Maurizio had a mistake in the straight line, and the spin was travelled a bit. But they're elegant, classy, and truly latin!

CDs skated yesterday were Ravensburger Waltz and Tango Romantica. Barbara & Maurizio are leading, with Federica and Massimo in 2nd place - as expected, I'd say. Fede & Massi skated well, in the Waltz they had a higher TES than Denkova & Staviski... the strange thing is that then the Bulgarians' marks for the 2nd CD weren't made public. Most important news: Massi cut his hair! ;) I was told it's still a bit long, and he had them in a ponytail for CDs. I'll see today how he looks ;)
According to the comments I heard, Barbara & Maurizio skated very well in both CDs, and their Tango was the only one with a real "tango feeling". High legs, always perfectly parallel, maybe just a little bit stiff as they were nervous. Albena & Maxim had slightly deeper edges, but on everything else B&M were better; Aureli & Vaturi were very slow.

These are the marks - don't ask me why the Total Segment Score is lower than Technical Elements Score + Program Components Score as I don't know it!! (maybe because the compulsories skated were two?!?!):

Hi all, sorry for not updating for a long time...
Anyway, Italian Nationals are starting today, the Compulsory Dance will be this afternoon!! This is a link to the official website, where results should be posted: Italian Nationals 2006. You can find the competition schedule here.
I'll be going to Sesto tomorrow, Saturday and the gala on Sunday. This year it should be even more interesting, as Fusar Poli & Margaglio will be competing too, and we'll have also Denkova & Staviski as guests :)
